I played this show with the Austin Symphony a few years ago. That’s the same conductor, I don’t know her name. I think she’s Scottish. She travels all over, putting on this show with local orchestras. We sold out two shows in Austin and added a third. It was a blast. We didn’t have a chorus, though.

I play trumpet, with three degrees in trumpet performance. Mostly I’m a stay-home dad who spends too much time writing aviation history posts that few people read. But I’m also a freelance musician in Austin, and I play principal trumpet in a regional orchestra.
